Entry Terms

'Entrants' must post a photo of themselves or others wearing eyewear from SIGHT. Entrants must tag the photo with #SIGHTedWH as well as @SIGHTEyewear. The photo with the most 'likes' will be declared the winner of the contest. The contest will begin on December 4, 2013 and will conclude at 11:59 pm EST on December 31. The contest will be held and regulated by SIGHT, 17 South Main Street, West Hartford, Connecticut 06107. Eligibility

To enter, you must be at least 18 years of age and a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident. SIGHT Eyewear employees and their immediate family members are not eligible. Immediate family includes only spouses, parents and children.

 

Inappropriate Content

Obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable content will not be considered. We retain sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content.

 

Rights

By entering the contest, entrants agree to have their submitted name and photo entry displayed on our website and/or any social media network, printed material, or used by us for any purpose, at any time, without any fee or other form of compensation. If the entrant decides to enter the contest and provides an email address, the entrant is automatically signing up for communication from SIGHT. SIGHT reserves the right to disqualify users, without notice, and for any reason.

 

Limits to Entry

One entry will be permitted per individual. If a photograph includes multiple people, the account on which the photo was published will be considered the 'entrant.'

 

Winners will be announced on the SIGHT Eyewear Facebook and Instagram pages (www.facebook.com/sighteyewear, www.instagram.com/sighteyewear) by January 15, 2014.

Even as the days get darker and the clouds linger longer, there is still a large amount of glare and UV, so protecting your eyes is just as important as it was during the sunny summer.

 

Below Jessica was spotted wearing these gorgeous David Yurman Sunglasses with his signature rope detailing in gold plated sterling silver. Jessica paired her frames with an awesome leather LaLoop made of sterling silver and Swarovski crystals.

SIGHTED in the Center: Coli

It may be cooling down outside, but these Mykita "Louise" frames are hot, hot, hot!

Mykita frames are made from stainless steel and have no screws, but rather a pattened spring hinge which makes for extremely light, comfortable and durable wear.

Coli is wearing "Louise" in Brown and paired them with a beaded and sterling silver LaLoop!

Meet Angela, owner and hair stylist at Sugar.

Sugar is a local hair salon in West Hartford Center and our backdoor neighbors.

We love this lady, her hairstyling talents and her great taste in eyewear.

Hello, Fall! We are so happy to see you and secretly wish you would stay longer.

This time of year brings out the best colors in our wardrobes, along with awesome eyewear to complement the look. We couldn't help but swoon over this look from Elizabeth & James, so in true SIGHT tradition we had to style her in some of our favorites frames for fall.

We love the slight cat-eye shape and havana blue coloring.

Today, we had a happy visit from one of our favorite patients, Maggie. She ran by to visit her favorite Tom Ford sunglasses, "William". How fit and fabulous does she look!?!

It's no secret just how hott Mykita's eyewear is.

styling: Channing Tatum

Today, we have our eyes on the men - namely Channing Tatum. We styled this image from the pages of GQ, and found some beautifully crafted frames in our store to complete his look.

"Dino" by Rolf Wood is made 100% from natural materials, including the hinges. This particular frame is hand crafted with both wood and stone. The color and quality are outstanding.

"Colombo" by Mykita Mylon is the frame line of the season. This sport-lux line makes all of their frames with 3D selective laser sintering (SLS) and ultrafine polyamide powder. The color selection is gorgeous and the fit is perfection.

The Tom Ford Frame in tortoise and black with the designers signature gold temple "T" is a classic. You can take this frame from the boardroom straight through to dinner.

styling: HILARY RHODA

Inspired by this image we found of model Hilary Rhoda on Vogue.com, we decided to do a little frame styling. Below, we chose three frames that both compliment Hilary's look and are right on trend for this season.

The first frame by La Font is "Greta". "Greta" has a classic cat-eye shape that's huge for Fall '13 and has been updated with crystals on each corner. Second, is a frame by Mykita Mylon "Ariane". Red is such a bold statement, especially when placed over piercing blue eyes like Hilary has. Lastly, is the "Hemi" frame by LA Eyeworks. The "Hemi" frame is a matte crystal and goes with everything and anything - the overall shape is flattering on most face shapes.
