Let's talk about the Double Bridge frame.

This 70's style frame is back and no longer just for your grandfather. You may in fact already own a "double bridge" frame disguised as sunglasses. Does the Ray Ban Aviator ring any bells? There are more than just a few people rocking the Double Bridge sunglass made most popular by Ray Ban, but Tom Ford, Mykita and SALT. all have some stellar styles too. We couldn't help but notice the #1 Spring/Summer 2013 trend all over the runways this season:

Black & White.

While this "trend" has more of a classic appeal and really never goes out of style, designers have taken the color combo to another level with their 2013 collections. Great geometric textiles and a play on mixed prints usher in a playful look that when carried through to evening attire has an eternal elegance - think Marc Jacobs, DVF, Calvin Klein, Balmain and even JCrew! We love the look and thought we would compare some vintage retro frames to newer pieces in our store being designed by LaFont, Bevel and Tom Davis.
